"Fitness" is a broad term that means something different to each person, but it refers to your own optimal health and overall well-being.

Being fit not only means physical health, but emotional and mental health, too.

Exercise delivers oxygen and nutrients to your tissues and helps your cardiovascular system work more efficiently.


Components that make up total fitness are:


  • Cardiovascular Endurance.
  • Muscular Strength.
  • Muscular endurance.
  • Flexibility.
  • Body Composition.


Physical fitness is a state of health and well-being and, more specifically, the ability to perform aspects of sports, occupations and daily activities.

Physical fitness is generally achieved through proper nutrition, moderate-vigorous physical exercise, and sufficient rest.
